“2 Chronicles 34:15And Hilkiah answered and said to Shaphan the scribe, I have found the book of the law in the house of Jehovah. And Hilkiah delivered the book to Shaphan.

,19And it came to pass, when the king had heard the words of the law, that he rent his clothes.

,21 Go ye, inquire of Jehovah for me, and for them that are left in Israel and in Judah, concerning the words of the book that is found; for great is the wrath of Jehovah that is poured out upon us, because our fathers have not kept the word of Jehovah, to do according unto all that is written in this book.”

O Lord God, OUR hearts are torn when we think of the way Your word is neglected today. National leaders generally ignore it. Many church leaders compromise it. we have not given it appropriate attention. Let us be a Josiah in these wicked days, Help us to always remember and go back to the roots and truth of your word may we meditate in it day and nite. Amen.

Dear Lord, You are our God as well! Yet, We know that in many situations, We have not confessed You as our God. Lord, teach us to confess You as our God in every circumstance — when We have sinned, when we are sick, when we are abased, when we are abounding. Wherever we, whatever comes our way, may we see You as our God, lovingly and powerfully handling our times, in Jesus name, Amen.

Dear God of spiritual abundance, We are so blessed to be in Your family. Please remind us often that the world and the flesh are spiritually bankrupt. Teach us to draw upon the fullness of Your house through humble dependence upon You. Every time we have ever done that, our hearts have been fully satisfied!
