(2 Corinthians 4: 16 Wherefore
we faint not; but though our outward man is decaying, yet our inward man is
renewed day by day.)
O Lord, as our outer man deteriorates, remind us of the
encouraging reality that our inner man can be renewed. Help us to desire inner
spiritual progress, rather than outer physical prowess. This we pray through
Christ, our Lord, Amen.
